Friday, November 20th is a Staff Work Day
Friday, November 20th, will be a Staff Work Day. There will be no school for students. The purpose of the Staff Work Day is to complete a deep cleaning throughout school campuses and buses prior to the Thanksgiving Break. Please make note of this change to the calendar. Thank you!

Attention: Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases and the shortage of staff members on campus, we are having to postpone our parent luncheons for Thanksgiving on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. We will be reimbursing funds for those parents who paid in advance the week of November 30th. We apologize in advance for this, but it is outside of our control. We do plan to have an outside picnic luncheon in late February/early March if it is possible. As always, thank you for your continued support of Center Elementary! Be safe!
Thanks,
Tyler A. Bennett
Principal
Center Elementary School

Tip #5-Attend parent-teacher conferences and keep in touch with your child's teacher. This year, due to COVID-19, parent conferences make look a little different. Instead of a face-to-face meeting, you may have a telephone conference or Google Meets. Send your concerns to the teacher in a short note or set up a time to talk on the phone. For more ideas about how to prepare for parent-teacher conferences, see Tips for Successful Parent-Teacher Conferences at Your Child's School.
