Good morning,
We would like to request your help with gaining input from our Center Parents. Please use the phone on your camera to scan the QR code which is linked to the survey. The QR code has been shared with you via email, on our website, and social media.
Thank you!

Parents,
if a student arrives by car after 7:45 AM, you must come inside the building to complete a tardy slip in the front office.
This requirement is part of our safety protocol.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
Thank you,
Mr. Le Var Garner
Center Elementary Principal

Parents/Guardians:
If your child needs to change his/her mode of transportation from his/her normal routine, it is required that you send a handwritten note signed by the parent or guardian. If you make a change over the phone in an emergency situation, it must be approved by the principal, Mr. Garner. Please help us get your child home safely by following this protocol. Safety is our first priority!
Again, in review 1. Handwritten notes are required for transportation changes. 2. Changes over the phone are for emergencies and must be approved by the principal.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
Mr. Le Var Garner
Center Elementary Principal

Enjoy the summer together by spending time doing free or low-cost activities with your child!

Encourage your child to ask older family members about their memories of childhood.

On a map, help your child locate places where family members came from.

Let school lessons spark your imagination. Visit an educational website with your child.

Have a contest. Which family member can name the most parts of the body?

We would like to thank Mrs. Alisa "Toni" Nelson, Ware County Board Member for the delicious donuts that she dropped off this morning for our staff in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week!
We have been celebrated well at Center this month!

Our staff received more treats today from the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week! They brought bottled water with flavored packets, orange juice, donuts, and chips for everyone! Thank you, ladies!

Record a conversation with your child. Listen to it together and talk about how your voices sound.

Today, Dr. Rusty and Terri Gibson and Mr. Dale McGhin treated all of our staff to a delicious grilled steak dinner along with dessert in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week! Ware County Board Member, Mr. Barry Deas also helped with grilling! Thank you to this family for showing their appreciation for the hard work that our Center Staff does every day for our students! We appreciate being rewarded in this way! #teacherappreciationweek2023

A BIG "Thank You" goes out to the Parents of our students Landon and Emily G. for honoring our staff today for Teacher Appreciation!
