Special transportation and other services that may have been provided during the 23-24 school year do not automatically carry over to the next school year (24 25). Teach your child a three-step process for any job: plan, do, finish.
Our third and fifth grade ELA GMAS retest will be tomorrow, May 20th. Parents of students who need to retest have previously been notified. Please remember to have your students well rested and on time to school. Thank you
Keep screen entertainment turned off this weekend. Let your child be responsible for thinking of alternative activities.
Point out an example of prejudice to your child. Talk about ways to deal with intolerance.
Try to have a rhyming conversation with your child. It may be tough at first, but you’ll get better!
Notice your child’s interests and talents. Then encourage them.
Dig out a favorite children’s book and read it together. There are lessons to be learned.
This is a reminder about our End-of-Year Water Days, which begin on Friday (May 17) for grades 2-3, on Monday (5-20) for grades K-1, and on Tuesday (5-21) for grades 4-5. Please see the flyers in English and Spanish for each grade band for reminders to make this day enjoyable for all. Parents are welcome!



Spend a few minutes talking with your child at bedtime.

Families, Tonight's reading assignment for Charlotte's Web is Chapters 4-5. You can read to your child, have your child read to you, or listen to a staff member read it to you on Facebook or Instagram. Don't forget to send pictures of you and your child(ren) reading together. Send photos to your teacher's REMIND or stison@ware.k12.ga.us, and we will post them on social media.
