Just a quick heads-up: the Thanksgiving Luncheons for our amazing 2nd through 5th-grade students have a slight time adjustment on Wednesday and Thursday. We want to make sure parents have ample time to savor the delicious meal and enjoy some quality moments with their little ones.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause but trust me, it's all to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone involved. Unfortunately, we've had a few staff members under the weather, and this change will help us run things smoothly.
Wednesday, November 15th- 2nd grade begins at 11:00-11:40 PM. 3rd grade begins at 12:20-12:50 PM.
Thursday, November 16th- 4th grade begins at 11:30-12:00 and 5th grade begins at 12:40-1:10 PM.

2nd 9 Weeks Progress Reports will go home with students on Wednesday, November 15th.

REMINDER: K-1 Thanksgiving Luncheons are tomorrow, November 14th. Kindergarten 10:15 AM. First Grade 10:55 AM.
We are excited to welcome you to our Thanksgiving luncheon! To ensure a seamless experience, please remember that reservations are required. Upon checking in, you will receive your ticket for the event. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to celebrating this special occasion together.

We are seeing a lot of sickness at school. Please do your part to keep sickness from spreading to others. Students who have a fever at or above 100 degrees should remain at home until they have been fever free without fever-reducing medications for at least 24 hours.

When you read aloud to your child, choose an exciting place to stop. Ask, “What do you think will happen next?”

On Friday, November 10th, our students will celebrate Veterans Day. We will plan to wear red, white, and blue to honor our veterans. We will have a parade with special guests who are veterans. We will be sharing photos of this event on social media later that day.

Talk about service. Discuss ways your family can do something for others in the coming holiday season.

To clarify the deadline for Thanksgiving Luncheon reservations... tomorrow is the last day to pay. We will accept money up until 3:00 Wednesday, Nov. 8th. We are looking forward to having lunch with our parents next week, but we must have payment along with reservations to plan adequately for our menu. Thanks in advance.

Attention:
Today is the last day to pay for Thanksgiving Luncheon reservations. These letters went home last week with students. Adult meals cost $7. Limit 2 guests per student.

Hug your child, for no reason other than to show your love.

Make up a secret code with your child. Use it to write notes this week.

Start a family savings jar. Everyone can decide what the goal will be and how they will contribute.

You are invited to a PTO Meeting on Monday, November 6th at 8:00 AM in the school cafeteria. Check in first at the front office. We will discuss feedback on the Trunk or Treat event and new ideas for future events. See you there!

Talk with your child about ways to handle stress. Getting enough sleep, exercising and talking to someone are helpful options.
