A letter went home today from our Principal, Mr. Bennett regarding the Coronavirus and its impact on Center's field trips and activities. Please look for this in your child's bookbag. You can also view this on our website and Facebook page. The letter will also be emailed to you momentarily. Our mission for Pennies for Patients begins now Families, I am excited to announce that we have officially kicked off our Pennies for Patients program today! Your child will be coming home with their own collection box and a flyer that explains all of the exciting Hero Gear students can receive by collecting money in their box. This year, we are also encouraging students to set up an online page to receive donations, so that our school can make our biggest impact ever for the Mission of LLS. Your input helps us make plans for school improvement and needed changes in our school practices for the upcoming school year (2020-2021). Center Elementary's After School Tutoring for today (Thursday, March 5, 2020) is being cancelled due to the weather forecast of severe thunderstorms, isolated tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds! The safety of our parents, students, and staff is always our top priority! Students who normally attend after school tutoring will go home their normal mode of transportation, which means if they are a car rider usually, then they will be a car rider this afternoon. Any transportation changes need to be in writing and given to the front office. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
