Talk with your child about how each of you could improve your listening skills.

Tell your child a joke. Laughing together eases stress.

Please help us show thanks to Ms. Debra Thomas, our School Social Worker who serves our Center Elementary students. This week, we want to recognize the vital role that she provides to students, administrators, teachers, educators, parents, and our community! Enjoy your week, Ms. Thomas!

Tomorrow is the last day of the book fair. New items have been added! We hope to see you there. Thank you for your support!

If your child gets headaches, squints or holds books too close, schedule a vision check-up.

At a store, practice rounding prices to the nearest dollar with your child.

Talk about stereotypes with your child. Discuss why they’re unfair.

Parents and Staff, The input survey link shared around 12:40 today has a tiny hiccup. When you reach question 14, the question is in the preferred language, but the answers are in Spanish. It should read Yes, No, Not Sure. You can still take the survey, you need to be aware of the issue. It is being corrected at the district level as soon as possible. If you take the Spanish version, the same issue is happening on #14. It should read Si No, No estoy seguro. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Good afternoon, parents/guardians,
Today, your child will bring home a survey flyer. This survey helps us plan for the 2024-2025 school year. This is your opportunity to give input as we plan for revisions of our Parent Engagement Plan, Compacts, and School Improvement Plan. Be sure to participate in this survey so you can tell us what worked well for us this year and suggestions for increasing student achievement through our practices here at Center. Click this link to access the survey. You can use your phone to scan the QR code (on the flyer) with your phone camera or click the link provided on the flyer. This survey is unrelated to the student health statewide survey link we shared last week.
Thank you so much for your attention and participation.
