Thinking up questions will help reinforce learning.

Apply to College Day will be Tuesday, Nov. 15th from 9:00-1 00 in the PAC Lobby. Seniors who are interested in participating in this event must bring a chromebook.
Spend some one-on-one time with your teen. Don’t have an agenda.
Just enjoy the time together.
WCHS Wind Ensemble will perform on Tuesday, November 8 at 7 pm in the Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.
Avoid using problems with schoolwork as an excuse to criticize your
teen or argue about other issues.
Read an editorial with your teen. Tell him or her if you agree with the opinions
stated and ask what they think.
Consider setting a minimum study time. This can prevent your teen
from rushing through schoolwork.
Teach your teen how to make his or her favorite home-cooked dish.
Help your teen draw up a monthly budget. Be sure to plan for
unexpected expenses.
Stop by your teen’s room at bedtime. It’s often a good time for
conversation.
Encourage your teen to take pictures at a family outing.
Teach your teen to trust his or her gut. If a situation may get out of
hand, he or she should avoid it.
Does your teen object to a rule? Give him or her three minutes to state their case.
The deadlines for senior page is approaching! If the yearbook staff is creating your page, all pictures and forms must be submitted by October 28. If you are creating your page, the completed page is due by December 9. All pages must be paid in full by March 24, 2023.
Teens need to have a say in their day-to-day lives. Let your teen make
some decisions and live with their outcomes.
Put on some music and sing with your teen.
Juniors and Seniors from Ware County will be given the opportunity to attend the Probe Fair at South Georgia State College (Waycross Campus) on November 18, 2022. The Probe Fair is a college fair that will give students anul opportunity to visit with, and get more information on various colleges from all over. Students will travel by bus. Ware County's time is 9:00-10:00, so we will leave the high school around 8:30. To attend, students must register and pick up a permission form from Ms. Penland's office. Deadline to sign up is Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 3:00pm.
Does your teen study well with others? If so, let him or her start a study group
that meets in person or online.
