Thank you, WCMS parents for your patience with our car rider procedure today. Please make sure the school personnel gives you a number when they ask for your child’s name and grade and remind your child to obtain their number before leaving the classroom. For example, If you are given #5 then you should stay in the number 5 spot until your child is loaded in your car. As you enter the last curve in the parking lot, please pick a lane and STAY in that lane so that your child will be in the correct spot to load. Do not pull up out of your spot even if the car ahead of you leaves. If you are in the #1 spot, you will be given a red piece of paper that signifies your number. Please return those to the person collecting them. This process will work with the help of all parents, students and staff.
Due to the increasing amount of students who are car riders, Ware County Middle School is changing the location of the car rider line in the afternoons only beginning this Monday, August 12. Morning drop-off remains the same! We ask that you enter the auditorium parking lot as usual and follow the traffic flow. You will not be able to turn left on Cherokee Street after you pick up your child. Two lanes of traffic will be utilized in order to expedite the process for you and your child. Please know that we are trying to ensure that students are safe in the event of inclement weather. Thank you for being patient with us as we strive to have the best possible system in place for all our students.
