CENTER CELEBRATES CUSTODIAN APPRECIATION DAY!

On October 2nd, Center Elementary Staff celebrated Custodian Appreciation Day! Our amazing custodians, Mr. Donnothan Croom, Mr. David Bennett, Ms. Eloise Lee, and Ms. Mary Elam work so hard day in and day out to keep our school clean, tidy, and sanitized! Students and staff signed a "Custodian Appreciation Sign" (pictured) for them, and they were treated to a lunch from Chick Fil A! These four dedicated school custodians never stop! They are always on call, always sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, emptying trash, and so much more behind the scenes work that we could not name all the tasks they handle for us. We forget that they are the ones who keep us stocked in cleaning supplies and copy paper, set up and move furniture, wax floors, and basically anything else that needs to be done! As the image states in this photo, they are the quiet heroes of the school. They arrive early and stay late, clean up messes that no one dares to touch, and befriend everyone that passes by. We are thankful for each one of our amazing custodians. #schoolheroes #WeAreOne #CenterTigers
