WCLC Holds Report Card Conferences

Guests were recently welcomed to the campus of the Ware County Learning Center to offer encouragement and support to students during report card conferencing. Volunteers were stationed at various tables throughout the cafeteria. As students entered the room, they were greeted by their assigned volunteer, who talked with the student about their grades, their goals for the year, and their future plans. Mr. Levi Herrin, event coordinator, stated, "The students were thrilled that people from the community cared enough to give up their time to come and visit with us. They enjoyed talking about their goals and their plans for the future." It was a very encouraging day for the students and an event that teachers and students look forward to holding again in the near future.
