Bridge to Success
Ware County Schools participated in the Chamber of Commerce’s Education and Industry Roundtable. Assistant Superintendent Dr. Lynn Barber served as Master of Ceremonies, and Supt. Bert Smith, Waycross Middle School Principal David Hitt, and Ware County High School Principal Dr. Tyrone Kellogg participated on the panel alongside Lonnie Roberts - President of Coastal Pines Technical College, Monica Youngblood - Head of Southside Christian School, Joey Fitzgerald - Head of Crossroads Christian Academy, and Taylor Hereford - Campus Director at the Waycross Campus of South Georgia State College.

The event brings together industry and education leaders for the purpose of strengthening both. Members of Ware County High School’s Bridge to Success group, including Conley G., Amiyah E., Erin M., and Leanna L., accompanied advisor Christan Bush to learn more about how they could support their peers in segueing from education to career.

We thank the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce for putting the event together and CPTC for hosting!
