Eddie Devlin
The May 2022 classified Golden Achievement Award recipient is Mr. Eddie Devlin from Waycross Middle School.  Principal David Hitt presented the award and shared the following:

“Mr. Devlin is a classroom paraprofessional in title only. In reality, he is our go to person for so many things. Eddie drives a bus for GASA, for our athletic teams, for our field trips, and quite often for our transportation director when they are in a pinch. Eddie has led a science classroom instructionally when we had a teacher out for a long-term health issues and subs could not be found. Eddie is a quiet professional who avoids the limelight but is at work every day, giving 100% to our students and our staff.

“Mr. Devlin is the paraprofessional all the teachers want in their classroom. His calming demeanor, dependability, and work ethic make him a very valued leader in our school. There is no doubt that this month’s recipient of the Golden Achievement Award, Mr. Eddie Devlin truly exemplifies what it means to be a Waycross Middle Bulldog. He is a very caring person who loves his job and our school community and continues to be a key asset to the Waycross Middle family.”

Congratulations to Mr. Devlin, pictured with Mr. Hitt and Supt. Smith!
