Mrs. Anne Duncan and Mrs. Shalecia Nix’s class has been busy at DAFFODIL Pre-K learning about families and homes. Parents sent in a box which students used to create a house. They placed pictures of their families and pets inside and outside of their houses. Mrs. Duncan stated, “The students have been drawing and naming different shapes as they make windows, doors, and roofs. They drew pictures, painted, and covered their recycled boxes. This STEAM project has been a great way to pull engineering, science, math, and art together in the classroom.” The principal at DAFFODIL Pre-K is Dr. Linda Houseal.
