Gator All-Star Academy (GASA) is an exciting, after-school program being offered by Ware County Schools, in cooperation with community partners, beginning in January 2022!
This after-school program will
• provide tutoring and help with homework;
• offer enrichment activities beyond the regular curriculum;
• provide an after-school snack and end-of-the-day meal for each participant; and
• be supportive, respectful, and fun!
Who is eligible? All Ware County Elementary and Middle School students
When will it start? The projected start date is January 10, 2022.
What days will it be operational? Monday-Thursday, 12-19 days each month through the end of the school year
What hours will participants attend? GASA will begin immediately after school is released and run through 4:30 PM for elementary students and 5:00 PM for middle school students.
Will transportation be provided? Ware County Schools bus transportation will be provided; parents may also pick up their children.
Where will it be held? Participating students will be served at their home elementary or middle schools.
How many will be served? The number of students served will be based on staff availability at each site.
How does a parent apply for his/her child to attend? Application forms are being distributed at all Ware County elementary and middle schools.
