Ware County High School educator Mrs. Mandy Lee has been selected as the Georgia HOSA Advisor of the Month for August 2026, earning statewide recognition for her dedication to student leadership, healthcare education, and career preparation.
Georgia HOSA recognizes advisors who demonstrate exceptional commitment to supporting students as they explore careers in healthcare, participate in competitive events, and develop skills that prepare them for future success.
Mrs. Lee's selection was supported by a heartfelt nomination from Ware County High School HOSA Vice President Zen T., who praised her compassion, dedication, and positive influence on students.
"Since my freshman year, she has been a pillar of academic and emotional support for students," Toups wrote in the nomination, describing Mrs. Lee as one of the most compassionate and dedicated educators the student had encountered.
The nomination also highlighted Mrs. Lee's efforts to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where students feel supported and valued. Her commitment extends beyond academic instruction to building confidence, encouraging participation, and helping students recognize their potential.
As a recipient of the monthly honor, Mrs. Lee will be eligible for the Georgia HOSA Advisor of the Year award, to be presented at the organization's State Leadership Conference in March 2027.
Ware County Schools congratulates Mrs. Lee on this outstanding achievement and thanks her for the meaningful difference she continues to make in the lives of students at Ware County High School.
