Ware County Schools proudly recognizes Mr. Hildrick Garrison, Ware County Academy Coordinator, for being named the recipient of the Kennedy L. Sanders Outstanding Citizen Achievement Award during a recent Waycross City Commission meeting.
The award honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to serving others and making a positive impact within the community. Mr. Garrison was recognized for his work establishing a mentoring program and for engaging students in community service projects that encourage leadership, responsibility, and civic involvement.
Through his dedication to students and his commitment to strengthening connections between schools and the community, Mr. Garrison has created opportunities for young people to learn the value of service while making meaningful contributions to those around them.
"We are proud of Mr. Garrison and grateful for the example he sets for our students," said Ware County Schools Assistant Superintendent Dr. Shelli Tyre. "His efforts embody the spirit of service, leadership, and community engagement that we strive to foster throughout our school system."
