The Ware County Schools Police Department is now accepting applications for School Resource Officers (SROs).
School Resource Officers play an important role in supporting safe, positive, and connected school environments. In addition to helping maintain campus safety, SROs serve as mentors, role models, and trusted partners for students, staff, and families across the district.
Ware County Schools is seeking experienced, service-minded law enforcement professionals who value relationship-building, community engagement, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.
Qualified applicants must possess:
A Georgia Peace Officer license from the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council
A minimum of five years of law enforcement experience
A valid Georgia Driver’s License
Knowledge of police department operations and computer systems
Training and ability to subdue offenders, including the use of firearms and handcuffs
Salary will be determined based on qualifications and years of experience.
