Ware County Schools is proud to congratulate recent graduate Dallas Benefield on being selected as the winner of the district’s official Logo Redesign Contest, a distinction that places his work at the heart of Ware County’s visual identity for years to come.
Chosen from a strong pool of submissions, Dallas’s designs stood out for their thoughtful balance of tradition and modern clarity. His work reflects not just a single logo, but a family of designs. This cohesive system can live comfortably across classrooms, campuses, digital platforms, uniforms, signage, and official publications.
That matters. A logo is more than artwork; it’s a handshake, a first impression, and a quiet promise of who we are. Dallas understood that. His designs honor Ware County’s roots while giving the district flexibility to grow, adapt, and communicate clearly in an increasingly visual world.
Rather than relying on a single static mark, the winning submission has been crafted into multiple coordinated elements that work together, including primary and secondary logos, simplified marks, and adaptable variations, allowing the district to maintain consistency without sacrificing creativity or functionality. In short, it’s a system built to last.
In recognition of his achievement, Dallas was presented with a $500 check, generously sponsored by one of Ware County Schools’ valued community partners. We appreciate their meaningful investment in student creativity and real-world talent.
Dallas’s accomplishment is a powerful reminder of the talent emerging from Ware County Schools and the value of giving students authentic opportunities to contribute to their community in meaningful ways. His work will be seen, shared, and celebrated across the district.
Ware County Schools will be officially launching this new visual identity soon, marking an exciting next chapter in how the district presents itself to students, families, staff, and the community. Anyone interested in learning more about the new brand or in using the updated logos once released may contact Paige Coker, Director of Information Technology and Accountability/Special Projects for Ware County Schools, for additional information.
Ware County Schools extends sincere congratulations to Dallas Benefield on this outstanding accomplishment. We are proud of his creativity, his professionalism, and the mark—quite literally—he has made on our district.
Well done, Dallas. The future looks good… and it’s branded beautifully!
