Please join us in congratulating Christina Hostetter, Ruskin Elementary School’s Certified Golden Achievement Award Winner, along with Sarah McRae and Brittany Hendrix, the school’s Classified Golden Achievement Award Winners, for August 2025. When presenting the awards, Principal Julie Augustine shared the following words of recognition:
Ruskin Elementary School is proud to recognize Mrs. Christina Hostetter as our Certified Golden Achievement Staff Member. As a first-grade teacher, Mrs. Hostetter consistently goes above and beyond to support the success and well-being of every child. She is deeply committed to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—while building strong, trusting relationships with both students and families. Her unwavering patience, positive attitude, and warm spirit shine through, even when faced with challenges. A dedicated team player and one of the hardest-working educators we know, Mrs. Hostetter leads with heart and purpose. Ruskin is truly fortunate to have her on our team, and we are proud to honor her with this well-deserved recognition.
Ruskin Elementary is also proud to recognize two outstanding members of our front office team—Mrs. Brittany Hendrix, our receptionist, and Ms. Sarah McRae, our bookkeeper and data clerk—as our Classified Golden Achievement Staff Members. These amazing ladies are truly the heart and face of our school. They wear many hats each day, meeting the needs of our students, staff, and families with grace, professionalism, and a warm smile. Their positive attitudes and can-do spirit create a welcoming environment for all who walk through our doors. Brittany and Sarah are a remarkable team, and their dedication helps make Ruskin shine. We simply couldn’t do it without them!
Congratulations to these staff members for this well-earned honor and for going above and beyond in their respective positions. Joining in the pictures are Chairman Barry Deas, Mrs. Augustine, Board Member Buster Tyre, and Supt. Barber.
