Ware County Schools continues to lead the way in preparing students for future success through robust Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) programs. The latest data from the Georgia Department of Education highlights the significant impact CTAE is having on academic achievement and workforce development across the county.
Key Academic Highlights:
CTAE Concentrators boast a 97.2% graduation rate, compared to 51.7% for non-CTAE students—an impressive +45.5% impact.
The post-secondary placement rate for CTAE Concentrators is 93.7%, nearly 30 points higher than their non-CTAE peers.
Reading Readiness among CTAE students remains strong at 72.2%.
Workforce Development Success:
264 students earned Work-Based Learning credits through CTAE pathways.
171 employers across the region supported students through work-based learning partnerships.
Students collectively earned $1,486,021 in wages during the 2024–2025 school year through hands-on employment aligned with their CTAE coursework.
In recognition of its commitment to aligning educational opportunities with local workforce needs, Ware County has been awarded the Economic Development Partnership Certification by the Georgia Department of Education and the Georgia Economic Developers Association.
