Iesha Croom
Mrs. Iesha Croom is the June 2025 Golden Achievement Award Winner. At the presentation, Mrs. Paige Coker shared the following:

“The individual we are honoring tonight is no stranger to the Central Office. From her early days as a student worker to her current role as the Finance Manager for School Nutrition, Iesha Croom has proven time and again that excellence is found in both talent and character. Her quiet consistency, sharp intellect, and willingness to help beyond the boundaries of her own role have made her an indispensable presence. Whether she’s jumping in to troubleshoot complex reports, lending a hand during school holiday meal service, or using her eye for detail to help decorate and plan events, Iesha does it all with professionalism and grace. Departments across the district have come to rely on her dependability, and her combination of skill and creativity adds tremendous value to our team.

“It has been a true joy to watch Iesha grow into the remarkable employee she is today. I first met her as my middle school student. She was fiercely independent, quick-witted, and refreshingly free of middle school nonsense. She was like a mini-adult in the classroom and would always let me know when she'd had enough of the other students’ silly shenanigans by shooting me a look that said, *Can you believe these children?* That same no-nonsense strength, paired with her loyalty, tenacity, and heart, continues to shine through in everything she does. It is with great pride and deep appreciation that we present the Classified Golden Achievement Award to Mrs. Iesha Croom.”

Congratulations to Mrs. Croom! She is pictured with Board Chairman Barry Deas and Supt. Lynn Barber.
