Congratulations to Nazz H., who was honored recently as a Student of Excellence at Ware County High School.
Each year, teachers select students who exemplify exceptional character, commitment, and achievement. This year, three students received nominations for this prestigious recognition, and Nazz was nominated by his case manager, Dr. Tonya Sumner. In her nomination, Dr. Sumner shared, "It has been a privilege to work with Nazz since ninth grade and to witness his tremendous growth in academics, maturity, and self-confidence. He has faced numerous challenges with courage and determination. As a senior, he is currently taking four Dual Enrollment courses—his most demanding endeavor yet—and he approaches it with confidence, self-advocacy, and a willingness to seek support when needed. Nazz’s strong self-awareness enables him to identify areas for growth and take initiative to improve. His persistence and dedication are a testament to his commitment to both personal and academic success."
Ware County Schools proudly congratulates Nazz on his achievements and wishes him continued success in all his future endeavors!
