We are excited to announce that Savannah Woodard is the November 2023 Classified Golden Achievement Award Winner! While presenting the award, Principal Dr. Biff Lee noted the following:
“I am honored to recognize Ms. Savannah Woodard as the classified Golden Achievement recipient for Waresboro Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year. Ms. Woodard has served as a Special Education parapro at our school for 3 years. She is currently in the Para to Teacher track at South Georgia State College and will graduate in May of 2024 with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Her advisor and professors sing her praises as she is excelling academically as well.
“She begins and ends each and every day opening car doors for our students in the heat and in the cold with a smile on her face and never a complaint. She serves our students in many ways including small group instruction. Needless to say, she is an integral part of their academic growth. She thrives on learning new things and gives 100% to any task she undertakes. She is an asset to our students and has a very bright future ahead.”
