Congratulations to Cindy Thrift, the certified Golden Achievement Award Winner for November 2023. Upon presenting the award, Principal Dr. Biff Lee shared the following:
“I am honored to recognize Mrs. Cindy Thrift as the certified Golden Achievement recipient for Waresboro Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year. Mrs. Thrift is an RTI Interventionist and has served in this capacity for 7 years. She monitors student progress, coordinates data collection, as well as conducts data review meetings and tier 3 parent meetings.
“Mrs. Thrift uses research-based interventions to provide support to students who have been identified as at-risk by universal screenings. She has worked in the Ware County School System for 27 years, and has served Waresboro Elementary 24 years of those years. She is always looking for more ways to serve her students, such as working in our after-school GASA program as well as summer school and after school tutoring. She is such an asset to both our students and our staff.”
