After being named a 2023 Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE) for its laser-like focus on the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and its significant increase in student literacy and achievement, a team from Ware County High School was tapped to present at the ICLE's 31st Annual Model Schools Conference in Orlando, Florida during the week of June 25th.

WCHS was among thirty other Model Schools across the United States that shared best practices. The event provided a platform for teachers and leaders to share creative strategies they can deliver to their schools to achieve similar results.

As a result of these practices, WCHS has increased the Lexile scores of approximately 90% of students in MTSS courses by providing academic support in smaller co-taught classes as well as in behavior interventions and incentives. The administrative team was ecstatic to share "The WARE Way" with thousands of educators nationwide. This is an exceptional honor, and WCHS is proud to showcase the success of its students, teachers, and staff.
