Our Mission

The mission of the Ware County School System, in unity with the Ware County community, is to guarantee that all students are provided with superior instruction, resources (including technology), environment, and guidance to ensure top-quality graduates with life-long learning skills who can live responsibly in society.

Our Vision

It is the vision of the Ware County School District to be ranked among the leading school systems in Georgia in student achievement. State and local assessment results will reflect growth and excellence exceeding regional and state performance by five percent. Our schools shall be safe, healthy, caring environments where all students will make progress, staff members will perform to high standards, and our parents/community stakeholders are partners.

Our Values & Culture

We believe that education is essential and that everyone can learn. As a district, we look for individuals who treat everyone - from students, their families, our community members, and their colleagues - with the dignity, respect, and worth they deserve. At the end of the day, we believe that everyone has talents and abilities that can be supported and developed to contribute to a successful life, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Education is a lifelong process, and our staff plays an integral part in contributing to our children's success stories. We want our staff members to continue to grow professionally and support them in their pursuits. This allows our staff members to positively contribute to the creation of the nurturing environments that our learners deserve.

Educational excellence is everyone's responsibility. Everyone has rights and responsibilities that carry consequences when it comes to shaping children's long-term health and academic achievements, and we must work as a team to support our learners. Success begins with communication, and effective two-way communication begins in the classroom between our staff, students, and families. Teamwork and cooperation are critical to reaching our shared goals.

We must never lose focus on educating each and every child. Education constantly evolves with technologies, mandates, programs, ideas, and initiatives. These paradigms shift frequently, and we must remain cognizant of these changes. Determining what is best for students is the primary consideration for every decision made by our leadership.

Our Students

With a 90% graduation rate, the support our teachers and community give to our students is tangible.

One of the strongest investments in our students is E-SPLOST, a sales tax referendum that puts one penny for every dollar spent towards our schools. We invite you to see how our community has supported our buildings and programs through E-SPLOST.

We believe in equipping our students for the future. This means prioritizing one-to-one Chromebooks, STEM programs, a new multipurpose Agriculture Facility, and adaptive learning suites and playgrounds.
