“Hello, this is Dr. Epps from Williams Heights Elementary School with an important update about the upcoming school year.
Beginning this year, all students in Ware County Schools will follow a new procedure that bans electronic devices during school instructional hours. This means personal devices like phones, earbuds, and smart watches must be turned off and stored during the entire school day, from bell to bell.
Students can still use their devices on the bus before and after school, but once they arrive on campus, devices must be out of sight.
We’re making this change to help students stay focused, reduce social media stress, and engage more in their learning.
You’ll receive more details soon in our handbook and at Open House. You can also follow our website and Facebook page to learn more.
Thank you for your support as we work together to create a more connected and focused school environment!”
