Waycross Middle School Updates Car Rider Traffic Pattern
To improve the safety of students, staff, families, and community members traveling near Waycross Middle School, the school has updated its afternoon car rider traffic pattern. The new route will begin Friday afternoon, August 7, and is expected to become the standard traffic pattern moving forward.
Please follow the directions below:
Approaching from Knight Avenue: Turn onto Oakwood (by Wong's), then left onto Vine Street.
Approaching from Central Avenue: Turn onto Oakwood, then right onto Vine Street.
Please refer to the attached map before arriving on campus.
We recognize this is another adjustment so soon after the start of school, and we appreciate everyone's patience as we continue refining procedures at our new campus.
Every adjustment we make has one purpose: making arrival and dismissal safer and smoother for our students, families, staff, and our community. After monitoring traffic during the first two days of school, we believe this route provides the safest and most efficient traffic flow for everyone.
