Waresboro Elementary is excited to announce our first annual “We’ve Got Character” virtual book character costume contest! Families will work together to read fiction books, talk about and understand characters, show off their creativity, and then submit a video of their student in costume as a book character describing that character by answering a few questions we’ve provided. One winner each will be chosen from grade levels K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 for a total of 3 school winners. Each winner will receive a $50 shopping spree at our upcoming book fair!
