Superintendent Dr. Lynn Barber and the Ware County Board of Education are proud to recognize Ms. Dollie McDowell and Ms. Marie Story for their extraordinary dedication to Ware County Schools.
Ms. McDowell has lovingly served meals—and smiles—for 44 years in the lunchroom at Waresboro Elementary. Ms. Story has kept Ware County Middle School spotless and welcoming for 47 years as a faithful custodian.
Together, these two incredible women have devoted 91 years of service to our schools, students, and staff. Their work may have taken place behind the scenes, but their impact has been front and center for generations.
They will be honored with flowers, a certificate of appreciation, and a keepsake pen—small tokens of thanks for a legacy that cannot be measured.
Thank you, Ms. McDowell and Ms. Story, for the care, commitment, and heart you’ve given to the Gator Nation!
