Waresboro Elementary is participating in a school-wide reading event next week during Read Across America Week (March 4-8). We all will be reading Bookmarks Are People Too! by Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver. Your child will be bringing home your family’s copy of this book on Monday, March 4th. Check those backpacks on Monday for your family’s copy of the book and Day 1’s at-home family reading assignment (That’s right, we adults will be reading with our kiddos at home!) We will have daily book trivia questions and prizes your child can win, AND we will be dressing up to get in the reading spirit. See below for our dress-up days.
