October is Fire Prevention Month. Ask your child about their school’s fire drill and evacuation plan. Talk about your plan at home, too!
Friday fun: Eat dinner together and let your child pick the conversation topic. (Yes, even if it’s about video games.)

Fire Safety Starts With Me! This week, students will practice fire drills and learn how to stay safe in the event of an emergency. Help your child recognize fire alarms and evacuation signs, and review your own home plan, too!
