Wacona Elementary and Ware County High School have been named 2024 Bronze Award winners for Greatest Gains by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement—a recognition given to schools that demonstrate exceptional academic growth on Georgia’s Single Statewide Accountability System.
Their growth over the past three years places them in the top 7% of schools statewide! Out of over 2,200 schools in Georgia, only 146 earned the Greatest Gains distinction—and just 29 received the Bronze Award.
