Ware County Schools recently celebrated its 2026–2027 Teachers of the Year and Support Staff of the Year during a special pregame recognition at Memorial Stadium.
Honorees from schools and departments across the district were invited onto the field before kickoff, giving the Ware County community an opportunity to recognize the employees whose dedication and service make a difference for students each day.
Superintendent Dr. Lynn Barber presented special recognition to District Teacher of the Year Jenna Brooks and District Support Staff of the Year Scott Raulerson. Brooks and Raulerson represent the excellence, commitment, and heart found throughout Ware County Schools.
The evening was also an opportunity to recognize all school-level Teachers of the Year and Support Staff of the Year. While their roles throughout the district may look very different, each honoree shares a commitment to serving students and contributing to the success of Ware County Schools.
After the pregame ceremony, the honorees enjoyed a meal provided by Layne’s. Ware County Schools extends its sincere appreciation to Layne’s for helping make the evening special and for supporting the educators and staff members who serve the community.
