As we begin another exciting school year, Ware County Schools would like to remind families and community members of our Clear Bag Procedure for school-sponsored events.
This procedure is part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, families, and visitors. It applies to spectators and guests attending activities such as athletic competitions, fine arts performances, Honors Day programs, academic competitions, and other similar events held during or after the school day.
Approved Bags
Guests may bring the following:
Clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"
One-gallon clear plastic storage bag
Small clutch or wallet (clear or non-clear) no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a strap
Additional Information
-Student backpacks and bookbags used during the regular school day are not affected by this procedure.
-Medically necessary bags are permitted following appropriate inspection.
-There is no bag check or bag valet, so bags that do not meet these guidelines must be returned to your vehicle.
-Umbrellas are not permitted inside event venues. If inclement weather is expected, please plan accordingly by bringing appropriate rain gear that complies with event guidelines.
-All bags entering an event are subject to inspection.
