Memorial Drive Elementary School recently held its 3rd nine weeks Honors Day program, where two fifth-grade students were recognized with the Young Citizenship Award. Sponsored by the Waycross Exchange Club, this award honors students who demonstrate outstanding character, leadership, and a commitment to serving others.
This year’s recipients, Gracie P. and Jagger W., were praised by their teachers as exceptional leaders who consistently show kindness and compassion to everyone around them. They are known for being respectful both inside and outside the classroom, setting a positive example for their peers.
