During a celebration of Kindness Week February 15 - 19, Ruskin Elementary students rose to the challenge of providing a much-needed service for the Waycross community. After learning that area nursing home residents have not been able to have visitors for quite some time, students decided to make kindness cards to spread some cheer. The cards were delivered to residents of both Baptist Village and Harbor View nursing homes. Ruskin Elementary Jaguars want everyone to know that each act of kindness changes how we see others and ourselves. Donna Solomon is the principal of Ruskin Elementary School.
