Athletic Results 3/14/2025: Varsity Girls soccer hosted and defeated region mate Wayne County by a score of 4 - 3. Varsity Boys fell to Wayne County by a score of 0 - 2. Varsity Baseball traveled to Savannah to take on Region mate New Hampstead to conclude the series with a double header. The Gators run ruled The Phoenix in game one by a score of 17 - 0 and in a score of 14 - 0 in game 2. Go Gators!

Athletic Results 3/13/2025: Varsity Girls Tennis fell to Wayne* by a set score of 1 - 4. Coming away with an individual win was Bailey Denton. The Varsity Boys earned their fifth 5-0 sweep of the year, defeating Wayne County. Singles winners on the day were William Bates, JV Manabat, and Luke Crosby, with the doubles team of Nick Simmons and Cash Carter earning a win as well. JV Girls Soccer fell to Camden by a score of 1 - 8. JV Boys Soccer also fell to Camden by a score of 0 - 3. Go Gators!

Athletic Results 3/12/2025: Track traveled to Tift County, results have not been submitted from Tift County at this time. Our JV Baseball team hosted Lowndes at Gator Field. The Gators fell by a score of 7 - 4. JV Tennis hosted Camden and Brantley at the high school. JV girls tennis defeated Camden 3-2 in match one of a doubleheader today. Getting wins were Izzy Tatum at singles and the doubles teams of Hannah Hart & Alexis Wilson and Layla Pittman & Chyna Baker. In match 2, the Ware girls lost 2-3. Getting the win was Callie Lewis. JV Boys' tennis went 1-1 in a doubleheader. The gators defeated Camden County 3-2, with Jacob Page, Landon Lingenfelter, and the doubles team of Ashton Stormant and Eli Cook earning wins before falling to Brantley in the second match by a score of 4-1. Finally, Girls Golf traveled to St. Simons Island to take on Frederica Academy. The Lady Gators defeated Fredric Academy by a score of 135 - 138. Go Gators!

Athletic Results 3/11/2025: Baseball hosted New Hampstead* at Gator Field. The Gators came away with the 15 - 0 run rule victory in three innings and started off region play at 1 - 0. Varsity Tennis traveled to Camden County to take on the Wildcats. The Varsity Girls 1 -4. Paislee Wildes and Elly Blackrick came away with the doubles win. Varsity Boys fell to the Wildcats in a set score of 0 - 5. Varsity Boys Soccer traveled to Savannah to take on the Cadets of Benedictine* in a Region 1 - AAAA matchup. The Boys fell by a score of 0 - 2. Go Gators!

Athletic Results 3/10/2025: Unfortunately all athletic events with the exception of Golf were cancelled due to weather conditions. -Both boys and girls golf teams played in the 20th Annual Lee County Trojan Invitational. *The girls placed 3rd shooting a 270. The Lady Gators were led by Senior Anniston Grantham shooting an 87 to finish 7th overall in a field of 51, Annslee Kate Grantham shot 90, Kate Thomas shot 93, Eevy Griffin shot 95. The boys finished in first place out of a field of 12. *The Gators shot a 317 Led by low medalist Trace Carter shooting a 69, Eli Taft shot a 77 and finished second making the all tournament team. Asher Dean finished 15th and shot a 83, Jackson Ray shot a 88, Brodie Martin shot a 91. *Congratulations to Coach Wheeler, Coach Hayman, and the athletes on a great day. Go Gators!

Athletic Results 3/8/2025: Athletic Results 3/8/2025: *Tennis: -The Ware County Girls Tennis Team fell to Camden 1-3, then fell to Brantley County 0-4. The doubles teams of Bailey Denton/Makayla Moore and Paislee Wildes/Elly Blackrick each won their opening matches. The final match against Lowndes was suspended due to weather. -The Ware County Boys Tennis competed in the Viking invitational in Valdosta, GA this weekend. The Gators fell to Camden 4-0, before suffering a 3-1 loss against Colquitt County. William Bates finished the weekend 1-1 at singles. The final match of the tournament against Valdosta was suspended due to weather. *Bass Fishing -Colt Cox and Grant Geiger 12th -Clary Kinnon and Cody Gay finish 22nd -Waylon Smith and Kyler Matthews finished 47th Go Gators!

The Boys also came away with the win by a score of 3 - 0. The Lady Gators are now 1 - 3 in Region play and the Boys are 2 - 2 in Region 1 - AAAA. The Gator Baseball team traveled to Baxley to take on the Pirates. The Gators came away win the win by a score of 8 - 3. The Gators are now sitting at 11 - 1 as they get ready to open up Region Play. Athletic Results 3/6/2025: Girls and Boys Golf traveled to Wayne for a Region matchup. Results have not been reported at this time. Our Girls and Boys Tennis teams hosted Perry. Both Girls and Boys came away with a 5 - 0 set win. On the Girls side, singles winners were Bailey Denton, Makala Moore, and Ella Beth Cox. Doubles winners were the teams of Paislee Wildes and Elly Blackrick as well as Kayleigh LeMay and Madison Robertson. On the Boys side, singles winners were William Bates, Luke Crosby, and Holten Rainwater and the doubles teams of JV Manabat and Cash Carter and Nick Simmons and Miles Smith. Finally Varsity Baseball hosted Vidalia at the High School. The Gators came away with the run rule win by a score of 14 - 3. Go Gators!
