Athletic Results 3/28/2025:
Varsity Soccer hosted Valdosta at the Soccer Complex. The Varsity Girls defeated the Wildcats by a mercy rule score of 10 - 0. The Varsity Boys defeated the Wildcats by a score of 4 - 2. Varsity Baseball continued their winning ways by sweeping the series with Region mate Warner Robins. The Gators run ruled the Demons in game 1 by a score of 14 - 1. Game two, the Gators came away with the 7 - 0 win over the Demons in game 2 of the double header.

Varsity Girls Soccer went on the road to take on Georgia Christian Academy. The Lady Gators fell by a score of 0 - 4. Girls and Boys Golf traveled to Camden County to take on the Wildcats. The Lady Gators won by a score of 126-137. Individual scores were as follows: Anniston Grantham 35, Annslee Kate Grantham 48, Eevy Griffin 46, Kate Thomas 45, Lillie Livingston 47, Lily Peters 55, Onnie Peacock 51, Ryleigh Simpson 55. The Boys won by a score of 150-155. Individual results were as follows: Trace Carter 34, Eli Taft 34, Asher Dean 39, Jackson Ray 43, Brody Martin 47, Lucas Tuten 45, and Waylon Smith 67. Official Track results have not been reported at this time but we did break the school record in the Pole Vault with Isaiah Grayer clearing 13 ft setting a new school record on his third attempt.

JV Soccer teams went on the road to Lowndes High. The Lady Gators fell by a score of 0 - 5 while the JV Boys came away with the 3 - 2 win. JV Baseball hosted Vidalia in what was slated to be a double header but was changed to a one game matchup. The Gators defeated the Indians in four innings by a score of 16 - 1. Varsity Tennis was on the road to Savannah for the Region 1 - AAAA Championships. The Girls and Boys came away with region runner up honors and will host the first round of the GHSA AAAA State Playoffs on April 24 in the Swamp. We will have more details as they come. Congratulations to Coach Mooneyhan, Coach Teatsorth and all of the staff and athletes on a great performance.

Varsity Soccer hosted New Hampstead at the Soccer Complex. The Lady Gators defeated the Phoenix by a score of 6 - 1 while the Boys won by a score of 5 - 1. Both Girls and Boys have clinched a playoff spot with the wins. Varsity Baseball hosted Warner Robins for game one of the three game series. The Gators run ruled the Demons in 5 innings 10 - 0. Girls and Boys Golf traveled to Richmond Hill for a multi team event. The Girls shot 308 finishing in 5th place out of a field of 9. Individual Scores were Kate Thomas 101, Eevy Griffin 103, Lillie Livingston 104, Lily Peters 118 The Boys The boys came away with a second place finish out of a field of 10 with a score of 307. Low Medalist was Trace Carter with 69, Asher Dean shot 78, Eli Taft shot 80, Brody Martin 80, Jackson Ray 88, Lucas Tuten 91.

Gator Soccer Team was in Region 1 - AAAA action with Perry at the Soccer Complex. The Lady Gators fell by a score of 0 - 2. Molly Smith was the player of the game. The Boys fell by a score of 1 - 3. The Gator Baseball Team also hosted Perry at Gator field for a double header to conclude the series. In Game 1, the Gators came away with the 8 - 1 victory. Game two the Gators came away with the victory and the sweep in the series by a score of 4 - 2. The Gators are now 17 - 1 overall and 6 - 0 in Region play.

JV Baseball hosted and defeated Coffee County by a score of 3 - 0. JV Girls soccer fell to Camden by a score of 0 - 8. JV Boys Soccer fell to Camden by a score of 0 - 4. Girls Golf defeated Brunswick 136 to 161. Anniston Grantham shot a 38 to lead all scores. Eevy Griffin shot 48, Kate Thomas shot 50, Lilly Livingston shot 57, Lillie Peters shot 58, Ryleigh Simpson shot 58, and Onnie Peacock 63.

Tennis celebrated Senior Day by competing with Colquitt County and recognized seniors William Bates, Nick Simmons, Luke Crosby, Frank Pinckney, Makayla Moore, Nechyna Baker, and Alexis Wilson. The Lady Gators defeated Colquitt County today 3-2. Individual winners were Bailey Denton at singles and both doubles teams of Makayla Moore & Paislee Wildes and Kayleigh LeMay & Madison Roberts. The Boys, lost 1 - 4 to Colquitt County at home this evening. William Bates was the lone winner for the Gators, taking his match in straight sets. Varsity Soccer was on the Road to Warner Robins for a region matchup. The Girls fell by a score of 1 - 3 while the boys came away with the win by a score of 2 - 1. Varsity Baseball traveled to Perry and came away with the Region win by a hard fault score of 7 - 6. While Track hosted a multi team event and came away with the team win by both Girls and Boys.

JV Soccer hosted Jeff - Davis at the Soccer Complex. The JV Girls defeated the Yellow Jackets by a score of 5 - 0 while the JV Boys ended the night with a 2 - 2 tie. JV Baseball traveled over to Coffee County to take on the Trojans. The Gators came away with the 17 - 2 victory. Girls Golf was in Tifton and Girls finished 3rd out of 14 teams, shooting 274. Anniston Grantham shot 89, Eevy Griffin shot 90, Kate Thomas shot 95, Annslee Kate Grantham 98. Boys Golf was in Valdosta and Ware Finished 6th out of 19 teams at the Viking Classic in Valdosta. Trace Carter was the low medalist for the tournament with a 68 (the only score under par reported) Other scores include: Eli Taft- 82, Asher Dean- 81, Brodie Martin- 85, Jackson Ray- 91.
