Softball travelled to Camden County for two games yesterday. JV softball lost the first game by a score of 4 -5. Varsity also lost by a score of 10 - 11. Next up for the Lady Gators: Thursday 8/25/2023 The Lady Gators will head over to Greenbrier for a Region 1 - 5A Double Header. Game 1 will start at 4:00 PM while Game 2 is slated to start at 6:00 PM. Make the short trip over to Augusta to support Your Lady Gators!
The Lady Gators traveled over to Hinesville for play against the Lady Tigers of Bradwell Institute and the Lady Panthers of Liberty County HS. All three teams came away with victories. The JV Green team defeated the Lady Panthers in the best 2 out of 3 match. The Lady Panthers won the first set, but the Lady Gators would win the next two sets to take the match. The JV Gold team defeated the Lady Tigers in straight sets to take the match. On the varsity side, the Lady Gators won in straight sets against the Lady Panthers. However, the Lady Gators had to fight for every point in the best 3 out of 5 match against the Lady Tigers. The Tiger took the first and third set, and the Lady Gators won the second and fourth set. The Lady Gators would prevail in the fifth with a winning score of 15-11. The Lady Gators will be back in action on Thursday as they will welcome Camden and Brunswick HS to the Gator Den. The first game will kick off at 4:30pm. Please come out and support these Lady Gators!!!

The Lady Gators Volleyball team traveled over to Georgia Christian school. In the first match, the Gators defeated the Lady Bulldogs in straight sets by the scores of 25-17 and 25-20. In the second match, the Lady Gators lost in two by the scores of 25-20 and 25-18. The Players of the week are Emma Musgrove with with 16 serve attempts with 4 aces. Caroline Moye had 12 kills and 3 aces.
Volleyball heads on the road today to Valdosta and will face GCS @ 5:30.

The Lady Gators Volleyball team opened up the 2023 season on the road with two wins. In the first match, they defeated Brooks County in the best 2 of 3 matches. Ware won the first set 25 - 21, lost the second set 25 - 22, but dominated the third set 15 - 1. In the second match, the Lady Gators defeated Thomasville HS in straight sets 25 - 20 and 25 - 16. The players of the week are Skyy Green with 7 kills, 9 assists, and 4 aces. Miranda Harrell served 20 times with no missed serves and 6 aces. She also had 3 digs and 3 kills.

Come check out the 2023 edition of the Golden Gator Band, Thursday 8/10/2023 at Memorial Stadium.
While you're there, get some Gator Cards and eat at one of the three food trucks that will be on site. All proceeds will go to support the Golden Gator Band throughout the 2023 - 2024 season.
We will also be accepting any and all water case donations at the gate.
