Athletics Results 8/28/2024:
-Volleyball hosted Brunswick in the Gator Den. Varsity lost to Brunswick in the best 3 of 5. Brunswick won set 1, Ware set 2, but Brunswick prevailed in the next 2 sets to take the match. JV Green and JV Gold defeated Brunswick JV...both matches went to 3 games and Ware prevailed in the 3rd set.
-Softball opened up Region Play by hosting Perry at Gator Field. The Lady Gators fell in a weather delayed game by a score of 2 - 10.

Tuesday
Varsity Volleyball team went on the road to take on the Herons of Brantley County and the Hornets of Cook County. The Lady Gators defeated Cook in two straight sets by scores of 25 - 8 and 25 - 14. The Lady Gators then defeated Brantley in two straight sets by scores of 25 - 17 and 25 - 16. Huge congrats to Coach Gibson and her Lady Gators on the evening.

Softball vs. Camden
Lady Gator Softball team hosted the Wildcats of Camden County in a double header. The Lady Gators dropped both games by a score of 7 - 10.

-Volleyball
Hosted Brooks County and Bradwell Institute in the Gator Den. The JV Green lost Bradwell, JV Gold defeated Brooks County in their first match and defeated Bradwell in their second match. Our Varsity Gators defeated Bradwell in the best 2 out of 3...Ware won game 1 (25-16) Bradwell won game 2 (25-18) Ware won the 3rd game 15-11 to take the match. Ware would go on to defeat Bradwell in two straight sets (25-15) and (25-19).
-Varsity Softball was in action on the road as they traveled to Glynn Academy to take on the Terrors. The Lady Gators showed improvement but still fell by a score of 2 - 5.
