
Athletic Results 3/14/2024:
Soccer had a huge day with both JV and Varsity Teams in action. At home the JV Teams hosted Jeff - Davis. The girls fell by a score of 0 -4 while the Boys fell by a score of 0 - 3. The Varsity Soccer teams traveled over to Bradwell Institute for a Region 1 - 5A matchup. The Girls won by a score of 4 - 2. Arianna Davis scored a hat trick and Quetzi Sanchez scored a goal. Molly Chinn’s midfield play and Lydia Munford’s goalkeeping earned them women of the match awards. The Boys fell 0 -4. The Varsity Baseball team traveled to Statesboro and fell in the Region 1 - 5A showdown in game 2 by a score of 0 - 3. Evan Joiner was the Miles - Odum Player of the game with two hits. Go Gators!

-The GatorTack team traveled over to Lowndes and competed well. Results will be available online at milesplit.com sometime today. -JV Tennis teams hosted Camden County and Brantley County. The JV Girls defeated Camden County by a match score of 3 - 2 with wins coming from Kayleigh Lemay and Elly Blackrick as well as the doubles team of Lindsay Cox and Alexis Wilson. The Girls also defeated Brantley County by a match score of 3 - 2 with wins coming from Elly Blackrich and Addie Bishop as well as the doubles team of Lindsay Cox and Morgan Cato. On the Boys side, the JV Team fell in the match by a score of 0 - 5 vs. Camden and a match score of 0 - 4 vs. Brantley. -The JV Baseball Team traveled to Coffee County to take on the Trojans. The JV Team came away with the 5 - 3 win over the Trojans. Players of the game were Isaiah White, Collin Crawford, and Landon Spivey. Go Gators!

Athletic Results 3/12/2024: The Tennis Match scheduled with Valdosta was canceled. We will get reschedule information as soon as possible. -Lady Gators Golf traveled over to Glynn Academy and fell to Glynn by a score of 148 - Glynn’s 146. Anniston Grantham shot a score of 45 and finished 2nd overall. Lillie Livingston shot 51, Eevy Griffin shot 52, and Kate Thomas shot a 54. It was a very good day for the Lady Gators and the coaching staff. -Varsity Baseball opened up Region Play at home out at Gator Field against Statesboro. The Gators defeated the Blue Devils by a score of 3 - 0. The Miles Odum Players of the Game were Evan Joiner and Seth Suess. The Gators are now 7 - 5 overall and 1 - 0 in Region Play. Go Gators!

Gator Athletics Results 3/12/2024: Lady Gators JV Soccer played great defense and the game against Brunswick ended in a 0 - 0 tie. The Lady Gators are now sitting at 2 - 4 - 1 overall. -The JV Baseball team hosted Coffee and came away with the win by a score of 9 - 5. The JV Baseball team is now 7 - 1 overall and 4 - 1 in conference play. -The Gator Track Teams traveled over to Coffee County and competed well. Results will be online once they are reported. Athletic Results 3/8/2024: Tennis results will come later, but after today's matches, the Varsity Girls Tennis team is playing for the 3/4 in the Lowndes County Viking Invitational tomorrow while the Varsity Boys Tennis Team will be playing in the championship match. Varsity Girls Soccer fell to Greenbrier* by a score of 10 - 0. Varsity Boys Soccer fell to Greenbrier* by a score of 9 - 1. Varsity Baseball completed the series with Appling with a win by a score of 9 - 7. The Miles - Odum Players of the game were Cole Cox, Landon Smallwood, and Slade Sweat. Go Gators!

Gator Athletics 3/8/2024: -Boys Golf traveled over to Camden County to take on the Wildcats at the Laurel Island Links. The Gators fell overall by a score of 163 to Camden’s 152. Trace Carter finished 2nd overall with a score of 34, Eli Taft came in 6th scoring 42, Asher Dean was 7th with 43, Colin Brown scored 44, and Jackson Ray was 13th with a score of 47. -Gator Tennis hosted Coffee* County out at the High School. The Varsity Girls were defeated overall 0 - 5 while the Varsity Boys fell by an overall match score of 2 - 3. James Willingham and Isaiah Collins both came away with individual set wins. -JV Soccer traveled over to Camden County to compete with the Wildcats. The JV Girls fell by a score of 0 - 8 while the JV Boys fell by a score of 1 - 2. -The Varsity Gator Baseball team traveled over to Wayne County to take on the Yellow Jackets. The Gators fell in a tight game by a score of 1 - 3. Go Gators!

Athletic Results 3/6/2024: -Tennis defeated Jenkins in region play. For the Girls, set wins came from Bailey Denton with wins of 6 - 0 in both sets, Mattie Lingenfelter with singles wins of 6 - 0, and Makayla Moore with singles wins of 6 - 0. In Doubles actions, Paislee Wildes and Kamiyah Green came away with wins of 6 - 0 as well as Madison Roberts and Kayleigh Lemay earning sets wins of 6 - 0. The Girls won by a match score of 5 - 0 while the Boys won by a match score of 5 - 0 as well. Individual set wins came from James Willingham, William Bates, and Isaiah Collins. Doubles wins came from Tyler Monroe and JV Manabat as well as Nick Simmons and Cash Carter. Congratulations to both Girls and Boys Tennis Teams for a dominating Region 1 - 5A win.
-Gator Baseball defeated the Pirates of Appling County by a score of 8 - 5. The Miles Odum Players of the game were Evan Joiner from the mound with the win picking up where he left off with Brantley County the other day with six strikeouts, Bryce Dixon with a huge double in the first inning and exceptional play in the field, and Noah Bunch with two hits including a double. Congratulations to the Gators for this huge victory over the number three ranked Pirates. Go Gators!

-Our Girls Golf Team traveled over to Coffee County were not able to complete the round so there are no results to report.
-Our JV Baseball team hosted Brantley County for a double header and defeated the Herons in game 1 by a score of 10 - 2 and 7 - 4 in Game 2. The JV Baseball Team is now 6 - 1 overall and 3 - 1 in conference play.
-Our JV Soccer teams traveled over to Cook County to take on the Hornets. The JV Girls won the match by a score of 2 - 0. The JV Boys defeated Cook by a score of 2 - 1.
-It was a strong day overall for all of the Gator Teams in action.

Athletic Results, Saturday 3/2/2024: The Girls and Boys Weight Lifting Team competed in the State Weightlifting meet in Heard County. The Boys team came in runner up in the state with Demetrius Baldwin, Nick Simmons, Jabare George, and Zee Adamson winning their weight class. On the Girls end, individual winners were Aleya Shears, Jada Evans, and Charlacia Jones. Huge Congrats to the weight lifting team for their performance. Also, we are very proud of our Literary team that traveled to Coffee and won the Region 1 - 5A Championship. Individual winners were Amiyah Elam in Dramatic Oral Interpretation, Izzy Lefand in Humorous Oral Interpretation, and the Oral Interpretation Duo of Izzy Lefand and Kierson Fort. Lauren Moore won the Girls Music Solo. The Music Trio Team of Quiara Jenkins, Logan Markette, Kyra Turlington came away with first place as well as Kamani Gainer, Caleb Ker, Jose Lopez, and Travis Johnson won the Music Quartet. Athletic Results 3/1/2024: The Gator Guns Rifle Team hosted Madison County out at the Rifle Range for the Semi Finals of the GHSA State Rifling Tournament. The Gators Guns came away with a convincing win by an overall score of 1152 with 59 center shots to Madison’s 1090 with 33 center shots. Top Gators were Macy Tatum, Austin Griffis, Gabrielle Howard, Makayla Whitley, and Neve Smoak. -Soccer hosted Statesboro in another Region 1 - 5A showdown. The Lady Gators fell by a score of 0 - 4. The Boys fell in a double overtime by a score of 2 - 3. Jose Delgadilo scored a header early in the match and Yair Dixon scored a nice goal from a huge distance in the first half. -Gator Baseball defeated a highly ranked 6A TCC by a score of 6 - 4. Players of the game were Landon Smallwood from the mound and Evan Pearson gaining the lead with a three run homer. Congrats to all of the Gator Baseball players and coaches on a tremendous effort. Boys Tennis: the Gators had an overall match score win of 5 - 0 with individual wins from James Willingham, William Bates, and Isaiah Collins. Doubles wins came from Tyler Monroe and JV Manobat and Nick Simmons and Cash Carter. -Our Varsity Boys Golf Team traveled over to Camden County and came out on top with an overall score of 167 to Camden’s 168. -Varsity Baseball Team hosted and fell to Wayne County by a score of 2 - 5 in a hard fault game.
