-Volleyball
Hosted Brooks County and Bradwell Institute in the Gator Den. The JV Green lost Bradwell, JV Gold defeated Brooks County in their first match and defeated Bradwell in their second match. Our Varsity Gators defeated Bradwell in the best 2 out of 3...Ware won game 1 (25-16) Bradwell won game 2 (25-18) Ware won the 3rd game 15-11 to take the match. Ware would go on to defeat Bradwell in two straight sets (25-15) and (25-19).
-Varsity Softball was in action on the road as they traveled to Glynn Academy to take on the Terrors. The Lady Gators showed improvement but still fell by a score of 2 - 5.

The Gator Golf Teams had a great state tournament. The Girls finished 8th overall. Individual results are as follows: Anniston Grantham scored a 173, Annslee Kate Grantham scored a 289, Eevy Griffin scored a 202, Lillie Livingston scored a 205, and Kate Thomas finished with a score of 215. The Boys came away with a fourth place finish overall with individual results as follows: Jackson Ray with a 170, Mac Dean scored a 177, Asher Dean scored a 170, Collin Brown scored a 168, Eli Taft finished with a 157, and Trace Carter scored a 130 and was the low medalist at 14 under. Congratulations to the Gator Golfers, Coach Wheeler, and Coach Hayman on their success in the 2024 season.
*This will conclude Ware County Gator Athletics for the 2023 / 2024 season. We appreciate everyone for their support and look forward to the 2024 / 2025 Athletic season.

The Gator Golf Teams continue competing in the GHSA 5A State Tournament out at OCC in Blackshear. Results from yesterday are as follows: The Boys are currently in 2nd and are 6 shots from the lead, they shot a 309. Individual scores are as follows: Trace Carter is leading with 64 and has a 7 shot lead. Asher Dean is sitting at 83, Eli Taft is at 79, Mac Dean follows with a 90, Collin Brown came in yesterday with an 83, and Jackson Ray is sitting with an 85. The Girls are currently in 8th place and shot a 280 on the day. Individual results are as follows: Anniston Grantham shot an 88, Lillie Livingston shot a 94, Kate Thomas shot a 104, Annslee Kate Grantham shot a 98, and Eevy Griffin finished the day at 99. The Boys will Tee off today at 8:30 AM while the Girls will Tee off at 12:30 PM. We will have final results available tomorrow. Go Gators!
