The Ware County Lady Gators Volleyball program enjoyed a full afternoon of competition Tuesday, September 29, as Brooks County and Cook County visited the Gator Den for a multi-team playdate.
Ware County’s JV Green team started the day on a strong note, defeating the Cook County JV squad in straight sets. The Lady Gators put together a solid performance from start to finish to secure the victory.
The afternoon also included an intrasquad matchup between Ware County’s JV Gold and JV Green teams. Both squads competed hard, with JV Gold earning the straight-set victory. The match provided valuable court time for both groups as they continued to develop and gain experience.
Varsity action saw the Lady Gators split their two matches. Ware County came up short against Cook County before responding with a strong effort against Brooks County. The Lady Gators bounced back to defeat Brooks County and finish the night in the win column in front of the home crowd.
