The Ware County Lady Gators Volleyball program welcomed Tift County and Liberty County to the Gator Den on Tuesday, September 22, for a full evening of volleyball action.
Ware County's varsity squad faced a tough challenge against both opponents. The Lady Gators battled throughout the evening but were unable to gain the momentum they needed, falling in straight sets to both Tift County and Liberty County.
Despite the results, the Lady Gators continue to work toward finding the right combination on the court. With several players gaining valuable experience in different roles, Ware County remains focused on improving communication, building chemistry, and becoming more consistent as a team.
It was a successful evening for Ware County's younger squads.
JV Green, the Lady Gators' freshman team, earned a victory over the Tift County freshmen. JV Gold put together an outstanding night, defeating both Tift County JV and Liberty County JV to finish the evening with a pair of wins.
The strong performances from the JV teams were an encouraging sign for the Lady Gators program as players throughout the lineup continue to develop and gain experience.
Ware County will look to keep working and improving as the Lady Gators prepare for their next opportunity on the court.
