The Ware County Lady Gators Volleyball Team traveled to Tattnall County on Thursday, September 17, for a playdate against Johnson High School of Savannah and the Tattnall County Battle Creek Warriors. Ware County finished the evening with a split, earning a straight-set victory over Johnson before falling in three sets to Tattnall County.

Lady Gators Defeat Johnson in Straight Sets

Ware County opened the day with a strong performance against Johnson, winning in straight sets, 25-9 and 25-19.

The Lady Gators established control early with a convincing first-set victory and carried that momentum into the second set to complete the sweep.

Tattnall County Edges Ware County in Three Sets

In the second match, Ware County and Tattnall County battled through three competitive sets.

The Lady Gators opened the match with a 25-11 victory in the first set. Tattnall County responded in a tightly contested second set, edging Ware County 29-27 to force a deciding third set.

The final set remained close throughout, with Tattnall County eventually coming away with the 17-15 victory to take the match.

Ware County finished the playdate 1-1 and will now turn its attention to a pair of home matches next week.

The Lady Gators return to the Gator Den on Tuesday, September 22, when they host the Tift County Blue Devils and Liberty County. First serve is scheduled for 4:30 PM.

The Ware County Clear Bag Policy will be in effect for all fans entering the Gator Den. Spectators are encouraged to review the policy before arriving and plan accordingly.

The Parental Supervision Policy will also be enforced. Parents and guardians are reminded that school-aged children should remain under appropriate adult supervision throughout the event.
