The event celebrated the hard work, dedication, and commitment these athletes have shown throughout their time representing the Gators both academically and athletically.

With family members, teammates, coaches, faculty, and supporters gathered together, each student-athlete officially signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level while taking the next step toward their future goals.

The Ware County Gator Baseball program celebrated two signees during the ceremony. Seth Suess signed to continue his baseball career at Shorter University after helping lead the Gators throughout a successful high school career. Walker Hudson also signed to continue his academic and athletic career at United States Military Academy at West Point, earning the opportunity to compete at one of the nation’s most prestigious military academies.

The Ware County Golf program recognized standout golfer Asher Dean, who officially signed with Georgia Military College. Dean recently earned Region Low Medalist honors and advanced to the GHSA State Golf Championships following an impressive senior campaign.

The Ware County Wrestling program continued its tradition of excellence with three student-athletes signing to compete at the collegiate level. Hannah Miller signed with Brewton-Parker Christian University, Jordan Maxwell signed with Fort Hayes Tech Northwest, and Jaden McKelvin signed with Hawkeye Community College. All three athletes played major roles in helping strengthen the tradition and success of the Gator wrestling program.

The Lady Gator Basketball program was also represented as Bre Hill officially signed with Andrew College to continue her basketball and academic career. Hill’s leadership, work ethic, and contributions to the Lady Gators program have made a tremendous impact during her time at Ware County High School.

Spring Signing Day once again highlighted the continued success of Ware County Athletics and the dedication these student-athletes have shown through years of preparation, sacrifice, and commitment. Their accomplishments reflect not only individual success, but also the support of their families, teammates, coaches, teachers, and the entire Ware County community.
