The Ware County Lady Gators Soccer team turned in an impressive performance on Monday, April 14, defeating Coffee County 5-1 at the Ware County Soccer Complex in non-region action.
From the opening whistle, the Lady Gators set the tone by controlling possession and dominating the midfield. Ware County consistently kept play on Coffee County’s half of the field, limiting opportunities for the visitors while creating steady pressure on the attacking end.
Five different Lady Gators found the back of the net in a balanced offensive effort. Desyir Zahner, Lexi Burse, Marlee Livingston, Natalie Scheuing, and Isabella Sweat each scored a goal to power Ware County to the convincing victory.
The midfield unit played a key role in the win, dictating the pace of play and disrupting Coffee County’s attack throughout the match. For their outstanding efforts, Isabella Sweat, Layla Evans, and Jenisyn Bethea were named Women of the Match.
With the win, the Lady Gators continue to build momentum as they move deeper into the season.
