The Ware County Gator Golf teams were in action on Monday, March 24, 2026, with both squads competing in highly competitive invitationals across South Georgia. The Lady Gators traveled to Valdosta for the Lady Viking Classic at Kinderlou Forest, while the Gator boys headed to Tifton for the Blue Devil Invitational.

Lady Gators Shine at Viking Classic

The Ware County Lady Gators delivered a strong performance at the Lady Viking Classic, finishing 5th out of 24 teams in a deep and competitive field at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta.

Leading the way for the Lady Gators was Eevy Griffin, who posted a team-low round of 84. Annslee Kate Grantham followed closely with an 85, while Lillie Livingston added an 88. Kate Thomas carded a 91, and Lily Peters rounded out the scoring with a 98.

The top-five finish highlights another consistent showing for the Lady Gators as they continue to build momentum throughout the season against some of the top competition in the region.

Gators Compete at Blue Devil Invitational

On the boys side, the Ware County Gators competed in the Blue Devil Invitational in Tifton, finishing 10th out of 18 teams with a team score of 324.

Asher Dean led the Gators with an impressive round of 73, pacing the team on the day. Brody Martin followed with a 77, while Jackson Ray shot an 86. Lucas Tuten contributed an 88, and Will Peters shot a 96 to round out the scoring for Ware County.

The Gators battled through a competitive field and continue to gain valuable experience as the season progresses.
