Ware County Gator Athletics saw a pair of junior varsity teams in action on Wednesday, March 11, as the JV Boys Soccer and JV Baseball teams competed against regional opponents.
The JV Boys Soccer team traveled to Jesup to face the Wayne County Yellow Jackets. Despite a strong effort from the Gators, Wayne County controlled the pace of the match and Ware County fell by a final score of 5 - 0.
Meanwhile in Waycross, the JV Baseball team hosted the Jeff Davis Yellow Jackets at Gator Field. Ware County battled throughout the contest but ultimately came up short, falling by a score of 10 - 3.
The Gators will quickly turn their focus to a busy remainder of the week across several sports.

Event Policies for Ware County Athletic Events
Clear Bag Policy: All spectators are required to follow the Ware County School System clear bag policy when entering athletic venues.
Parental Supervision Policy: Elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all Ware County athletic events.
