The Ware County Varsity Soccer teams returned to the pitch on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, hosting a pair of opponents at the Soccer Complex. The Gator boys welcomed the Benedictine Cadets in a key Region 1 - AAAA matchup, while the Lady Gators took on Georgia Christian Academy in non-region action.
Varsity Boys Soccer
The Gators faced a strong Benedictine squad in region play and battled throughout the match but ultimately fell by a final score of 4 - 1.
Ware County competed hard from start to finish, looking to generate opportunities offensively while working to slow the Cadets’ attack. Despite the Gators’ efforts and a goal to keep them within reach, Benedictine was able to capitalize on their chances to secure the region victory.
Varsity Girls Soccer
Earlier in the evening, the Lady Gators squared off against Georgia Christian Academy in a closely contested match. Ware County fought throughout the game but came up just short, falling 3 - 1.
The Lady Gators stayed competitive and continued to press offensively while working defensively to keep the game within striking distance, but Georgia Christian Academy held on for the win.

The Ware County soccer teams will return to Region 1 - AAAA action on Friday, March 13, 2026, when they travel to take on the Wayne County Yellow Jackets.
Varsity Girls Kickoff: 5:00 PM
Varsity Boys Kickoff: 7:00 PM
Both teams will look to bounce back on the road as they continue region play against Wayne County.
